Ah. I love the coast. I simply adore it so.
I caught Mia just standing in a daze staring at the ocean for a good minute and a half without moving. It was adorable...way more adorable than every other picture I took of her today with her crack hanging out of her pants. Also, she looked like Quasimodo because her hood was tucked in. I fixed that right quick...the shoulder pad look is so out...or is it?
And I love these pictures because Hazel was all jazzed to stand with them and jump but between the counts of "1" and "3" she had completely lost interest.
Then Hazel stood and looked longingly at the ocean...for a few seconds before I sent one of my minions out to fetch her before she charged right in.
And here is to the awesome missionaries who came and did the greatest service ever this week. In less than an hour they had packed the van to the gills, the absolute gills I tell you, with all the soggy stuff from our second basement flooding this month....and one broken trampoline blown into a tree during a recent storm. Boo hoo. These guys are amazing! Just about the nicest boys ever.

I love the beach photos. What a fun after-school treat! You have so much energy. But, what is this about the basement flooding twice and a rogue trampoline? Yikes! I'm glad you got some help and hope that water stays where it's supposed to! Darling pictures, darling girls, darling Mom!
i love the beach. i wish it was a little closer here so we could just run over whenever. such cute pics!
I can't believe what a sweet mommy you are! (well, actually I can). I love the coast as well...we're just at the other end. Glad you enjoyed the sunshine. It just makes everything so happy. Love you.
I love your sense of adventure. Your outing looks enjoyable; peaceful. Three cheers for spring and the great outdoors! Hip hip hooray! We on the other hand have have the coldest winter EVER and it's spilled into spring. We've never had a cool spring break. My girls keep complaining that it's cold.
Missionaries rule and deserve three cheers too.
The weather here in Colorado has been NUTS. I got a sunburn yesterday from being outside in the backyard and today is a snow day and school is canceled. CRAZY!!
Why.....
Those pictures are making me crave a beach trip. Sadly, I don't think it is going to happen this year. Someone told me about some kind of beach here in Utah, and I guess it is worth checking out. We'll see if it even comes close to comparing.
I love that your wee ones sit and ponder the vastness of an ocean.
And I love missionaries--and that they are serving my sister.
I want an ocean to sit and ponder...
I want the ocean. I love Babby's hair cut! Aren't you glad you organized your basement so well? Good for you and the missionaries.
In this nice weather I have been to the park, dairy queen, swimming, for several walks. But I have yet to go to the beach! Given how difficult it is for me to get there, I know I should be whipped or something. I need to correct this ASAP.
The coast, a coast, any coast, is calling my name. Good sunshiny times! Did I miss the Abby losing her hair post?
I love the pic of your girls jumping...Haley got some air! :) What an adorable little brood you have.
I miss those girls so much! Tell them I said Hi.
I love the pictures, they are so cute. You're a good photographer!
