In February alone we have had:
4 cases of stomach flu
3 upper respiratory infections
1 lost voice
and 1 case of pink eye,
pretty much all one at a time.
Am I tempting fate?
I shouldn't have said anything, should I have?
Last year we were all healthy, all season. Strong as rocks.
This year, not so much. And seeing as how my immune system is junk this year (thank you fetus) I am getting everything.
Delightful.

I am soooo sorry. There's nothing worse than sick kids UNLESS you are sick and you still have to take care of kids. I hope everyone feels better soon!
Its the February curse. I finally figured out a few years ago not to plan anything during this month. You inevitably have to cancel cuz someone is sick. But hey March is less than a week away, and "Say No To Auto" in two weeks! The timing of this event is perfect. Every year I always plan a weekend escape for the reasons mentioned above.
Thanks so much for your comments. It was a tough one to write, but felt all week I needed to get it out. I usually save such lengthy morose ramblings for my private journal. Lets hope the blizzard we know is coming does not fall on the weekend on March 10th.
Maybe this means you are due a very healthy Spring and Summer. So sorry. February is almost over if that is any consolation.
Time to take a bleach bath and start the weekend over.
Same thing going on here! What is UP this winter? I'm blaming it on the weather...not cold enough to kill all the ickies and we're catching every new kindergarten germ that Mr. Rhett is being bombarded with for the first time...then he brings it home, to share. So kind. Our immune systems are as confused as the VA weather. Might have something to do with the fact that I dropped the ball and didn't get our flu shots done this year??? So sick of sickies. Here's to our health...or lack thereof.

I'm so sorry. And why is it that someone always gets sick on the weekend? NEVER fails.

Every year my kids get the worst sicknesses in February. Blake has been sick, Taylor keeps getting sick, and since little baby is sick-mom is sick. I totally sympathize. It stinks!!!
Out of curiosity... did you all get flu shots this year?
Your February sounds a lot like mine. 3 of the illness belonged to me, too. Fun month, NOT!
