This is #3 asleep in the middle of the floor (circa 2005)
This is #2 ( also circa 2005, we must have been a tired people that year) asleep on the family room floor wearing no pants and number three's tiny baby shoes.
This is me, a #5 asleep on a magazine in the middle of the floor (circa 1978.) Just kidding.
OK, the picture of me as a baby is well-known in my family...I can't find it anywhere and it is making me crazy. So just imagine, if you will, a 6 or 7 month old baby curled up on the lid of a tupperware in the middle of the family room floor, fast asleep wearing some kind of baby sack-and if I ever find the picture, I'll add it. Why a tupperware lid? You got me.
#1's feet sticking out from underneath her bed on one of the many many occasions that she fell asleep under her bed...yes, sometimes I would leave her there. (2003)

The oldest 2 used to sleep together...
Let it not go unnoticed that my parents opened up their mission call last night and have been assigned to work in the
CHINA, HONG KONG mission!
I could not be more excited for them! They report to the MTC on August 10th of this year.
Congratulations Mo and Papa!!!

My girls fall asleep on books. I have a few pictures of that (not so good when they drool).
Congrats on your parents' mission call. Do they speak Chinese?
They speak Swedish and are acquainted with the menu at The Mandarin Chinese restaurant. Does that count?
Congratulations to your parents! I'll be their excited but how do you and your siblings feel about it?
I've got several pictures of my kids asleep in various places. My favorite is when they fall asleep at the dinner table. That's when you really know their tired (or just trying to get out of eating their vegetables).
Oh those are cute pictures, I love those times when your kids just crash, I am wishing it was one of those times right now.
Tell your parents congratulations, how exciting!

You fell asleep on an ice cream carton lid...maybe you were licking it and got tired. I don't know. I miss your girls awake or asleep. I will miss them even more when I am half way around the world!
Your children come across as a little narcoleptic in this post. I do love a good sleeping child in the middle of the floor!
WOW! That is so great Em, what an adventure! :)
Well good night to you! Your girls are so funny! They make me laugh. Aren't sleeping kids just a tad cuter?
I'm so excited for your parents. Can you mom keep up her blog while they're gone?
I love watching my girls sleep - and as I was looking at your pictues I realized my children don't fall asleep in random places. Why not? I wonder - but your girl's are adorable and Spencer is quite the photographer. LOVE THE PICS -
My rule (especially at nap time) is that you stay where you fall asleep. I have a picture of Kirsti on top of our mail on top of our kitchen table.
Congrats on China. That should be an adventure.
hey there! i just noticed that you commented on my blog a few weeks ago (I'm still pretty new at this thing!) I'm impressed that you found me - you must be experienced at this. Maybe I'll be like that one day...
Also, I love that you have pics of your kids sleeping on the floor. I have many memories of mine doing the same but no pics. Hope you guys are doing well!!
Emily...I love these pictures. (especially the one of your little girl with the baby shoes on...so classic little girl--loved it!) And, many times I find the majority of my children squeezed into one of their beds. It always makes me smile.
And, I am SOOO excited to hear the news of your parents!! They, of course, will be fabulous in China!
Love you all!
Not that you NEED anymore comments.. but asleep wearing tiny shoes wins hands down.
P.S. Can your parents get hello Kitty cheap over there?? This is where my mind goes..
I love sleeping children pictures! congrats to your parents!
How do you fall asleep with teeny tiny shoes on your feet? Or is that your secret? Stuff their toes until they lose circulation and have to fall asleep?
Congrats to your parents.
