Remember me talking about the golden sleeping child? The one, the only one, that slept through the night at 4 months and went down for naps and bedtime like an absolute dream? I used to walk into her room with her, we would pause at her bed, she would lay her head on my shoulder for 30 seconds then lean toward her pillow where I would lay her down, smooth her hair and say good night. Then she would roll over, cuddle her blanket and close her eyes. She has been in a toddler bed for a few months.... Moving has thrown all of the kids into one kind of upheaval or another. Abby is picking on her sisters. Haley is testing us on a whole new level....and Mia has given up sleeping and going to bed like an angel. She cries, she whines, she gets out of bed again and again and again. We've been here for over a month and still, no better. So we broke down and revived the crib. 'cringe' I mourn the lost progress and angelic bedtime routine. She cried for just a moment when I laid her down for a nap today but then slept for two and a half hours. Maybe regression isn't so bad after all.
On a happier note, I scoured my house and completed all laundry and dishes so that I could enjoy guilt free reading for the next 24 hours...and is something wrong with me? Everyone is saying how much they love Jacob but I am still all for Edward...we'll see how it ends tonight.

so the jury is still out for me. i really do love jacob and think he is much healthier for bella- minus the whole mutating into a werewolf thing. but she really loves edward, and as long as there is an edward, he will always be her pick. so i'm not sure what i want to happen. i'm on about page 170-something of eclipse. i don't want to read it too fast because then it will be over, but at the same time i just want to read, read, read. that's what i did most of the afternoon. so happy reading to you, too.
I don't want to ruin anything for you Sunny, but I wasn't all too pleased with the ending...where's a good book club when you need one?

Auuuuggggghhhhh! Even if I had time to read the book right now I couldn't because every single copy in Utah has been sold out! The bookstores have said that the publishers completely underestimated the Utah market. Well, it's okay--I have my name on a list at my local Barnes and Noble and I don't have the time until finals are over next week. They better have it back in stock by then or I may just bite someone on the neck! Will someone please tell Mandee what we are talking about. She NEEDS to know!

Can you just put Mia in a pet carrier and send her to me, already? (I'll take much better care of her than a pet carrier, of course, but that just might be the cheapest way. And she does like to pretend she's a cat...)
p.s. I just started Eclipse today and am anxious to be pulled back into that world, where the romance is plentiful buying a car isn't weighing over everybody's mind! I can't believe UT is sold out!

Okay...so I need a bookclub too. I let myself escape into the world of Eclipse, and I did enjoy it. It is such an out for me to read something totally non-essential. I feel like a teenager again though...But it was good. So, tell me, why didn't you like the ending???
No closure and sexual tension. I don't want to wait an entire year for resolution. Literary patience is not one of my virtues.

Technically, there is one she is working on that is from the perspective of Edward...just stop a good thing already!...and I thought it strange that the Epilogue in Eclipse is from the perspective of Jacob...is she setting us up for something else all together?
I thought that was strange as well...hmmm. So, do you think Bella really gets changed into a vampire in the end? I think not...We will just have to wait and see I guess!
So I'm so happy that your blog has become a temporary book club to discuss these books. I haven't started Eclipse (it should arrive today) but as of now I firmly am biased to Jacob. Edward creeps me out, but I really dig that werewolf thing. Also, Mia is so cute! I keep looking at her thinking she should look like Mason with no hair. I think hair really makes them look three years older.

emily, why don't you start a blog just for the series? I personally like jacob, but i haven't ventured past the 2nd chapter of eclipse yet....but stephenie meyer loves edward too much to part him with bella. I heard UT was sold out, that is so funny! buy it online. someday i'll read it...
