Now, moving on to another post in which I don't sound like a family-hater...
In addition to a compulsion for taking pictures of our own food, we also like to photograph the bizarre sleeping habits of our children. Hazel and Mia in particular...something about their room compels them to sleep at funny angles and fall out of bed without waking up as many times as possible in one night.
Their room is directly above the family room...oh, the noises we hear after they have gone to bed. Sometimes we take bets on what body part is hitting what wall.

(Do I need to clarify that they NEVER wake up? They get one shot to be put back the right way, then we go to bed and it's every child for themself.)

You didn't include any pictures with them UNDER the bed, but they've done that too!
The last few looked so much like crime scenes I am slightly disturbed...but ever-so-amused, as usual. I like the feet in the air one. I took a similar one recently, but it was Caleb's foot near Miles' face, so it looked like Miles was very flexible and broken...and the foot was super dirty.

I'm laughing out loud...OUT LOUD! That was the best piece of photo journalism that I have seen in a long time. Hannah could definitely give your girls a run for their money. I have never considered photographing her...we find her in the hall, in our bed, on our floor, on her floor, upside down, down side up...it is a wonder the girl gets any decent shut eye!

HAHAHAHA! That is awesome. We have found children in odd positions but not nearly enough to create our own documentary. Probably just as well since Ivory is on the top bunk. (Yikes.)
Their poor future husbands! You had better not let them see this post before they decide to get married!
I am typing this while laying in bed with a sleeping toddler laying perpendicular to me... hmmmm.
This is hilarious! We do the same thing - take pictures of our kids in weird sleeping positions. I do have to admit, though, they don't fall out of their beds. They manage to keep their contortions on the mattress. So funny, Emily!

Of course you don't let them in bed with you. It would be risking your life. Hilarious. Jack is the same way. He occasionally talks in his sleep too.

I used to fall off the bed a lot. Now I want to document my kids' weird sleep positions.
LOL! Maybe they are giving Cole lessons by ESP? :) Last night the most interesting position was his feet up in the air, resting on the headboard, body diagonal, his head in the middle of the bed (and in my back). Oy, this kid can crowd me out of a king bed...and I have to sleep with him every night!
I totally know how you can repay my "generosity"...girls night next week, I have a feeling we could both use it!
Wow, those are some pretty comfortable looking poses. I like when I see that my friends have purchased the same clothes for their children that I have purchased for mine. It's happened so many times lately, it makes me know that we're still connected! :)
How does a person sleep with their legs sticking straight up in the air? One of life's mysteries. That is a truly hilarious series of pictures. Now you need to check out this You Tube video of a mother's photos of her sleeping baby.

That's EXACTLY why my kids don't get to sleep with me either. A king-sized bed cannot contain their movement. Awesome photos! I see wedding video...
I feel sorry for their eventual spouses. My kids only move around a lot right as their falling asleep. But watch out, you WILL get kicked or slapped at that precise moment if you are too close.
